“Its a done deal, consider it done!”
“Consider it done.”という表現を直訳すると、「それは既になされたものとみなして」という意味ですが、「終わったも同然と考える」という意味合いで、「承知した」「任せといて」「お安いご用だ」「さっそく取り掛かります」「合点だ」などという意味になります。
相手に何かを頼まれたときに、それを二つ返事で引き受ける場合に用いられる表現です。
“Could you come and pick me up at the station?”
「駅まで迎えに来てくれる？」
“Consider it done.”
「任せといて。」
