“Sit down and dig in!”
「かぶりつく」「食べ始める」という意味です。
命令形の“Dig in!”で「さあ召し上がれ」という意味だ。
“When we were all seated at the table, my father said,“Dig in!””
「私たちみんなが席につくと、父が『さあ、召し上がれ！』と言った」
“Wow, this meal looks very good!”
「うわぁ、この料理とても美味しそう！」
“Dig in!”
「さあ、召し上がれ！」
“Dive in!” 「さあ、みなさん食べて！」も使えます。
