“And that’s the end of story, nothing more to tell you!”
“End of story.”は、“That’s the end of the story.”が省略されたもので、「話はこれでおしまいだ」、「そういうことだ」、「これ以上話すことはない」、「いくら言ってもだめ」または「だめと言ったらだめ」などという意味です。
「それ以上言うことはない、もうそれで決まりだ」とか「わかったわね」という感じで、相手に有無を言わせずに、自分の主張を押し通す場合に用いられる表現になります。
“You can’t go out on a school night. End of story.”
「学校のある夜は、外出できないわよ。だめと言ったらだめ」
