“I’ll have the same.”
レストランなどで、食べ物や飲み物を注文するときに、先に注文した人と同じものを注文したいという場合に、“I’ll have the same.”と言うと、「私も同じものをください」または「私も同じものをお願いします」などという意味になります。
“The same for me, please.”という表現も同じような意味合いになりますね。
“Make it two.”と言うと、「私にも同じものを」、「それ2つね」または「私もそれをお願いします」などという意味になります。
“Are you ready to order?”
「ご注文はお決まりですか？」
“Yes. I’ll have a steak with mashed potatoes.”
「はい。ステーキにマッシュポテトをお願いします。」
“I’ll have the same.”
「私も同じものをお願いします。」
