“done”には、（仕事などが）終わった、済んだという意味がありますが、
“I’m done.”と言うと、「終わった」「できた」という意味になっています。
仕事を終えたときや、小さいな作業でも、食事を終えたときなどに用いられます。
ここで、“be done with ～”とすると、「～を済ます；（人）と交際をやめる、～を終える、～と手を切る」という意味にでも使えますので、“I’m done with you.”と言うと、「君とはもう終わりだ」とか「あなたとはおしまいよ」などという意味にもなり。
“Are you finished?”
「もうお済みですか？（もう仕事終わりましたか？）」
“Yes, I’m done.”
「はい。終わりました」
