“Look here, it wasn’t my fault.”
“Look here!”には、「なあ」、「おい」、「あのね！」、「いいかい」または「ほらちょっと！」などという意味がありますが、注意を促すときに用いる表現で、特に、相手に苛立って、
何かを言い聞かせるときなどに用いられる前置きの表現ですね。通常は、この後に、怒りや非難の言葉が続きます。
