“Hey, move over and let me sit down.”
“move over”には、「席を詰める；脇へ退く」という意味があり、「（地位など）を譲る」「移る」などという意味ですが。、“Move over.”と命令形になると、「席を詰めて」という意味です。
電車の座席やソファーなど、長い椅子に座っている人に席を詰めてもらうときに「ちょっと席を詰めて」という感じで用いられる表現も多いです。
同じような意味合いで、“Scoot over.”「席を詰めて」という表現もありますが、こちらの表現も聞いたことあります

「ねえ、席を詰めて私を座らせてよ」
