“My ass! You look nothing alike.”
“My ass!”には、「ばかな！」、「うそつけ！」とか「まさか！」という意味があり、相手の言ったことに対して、強い否定・反論・不信などを表すときに用いられますが、この“My ass!”という表現は、かなり下品な表現なので、それよりも下品でない言い方として、“My butt!”と言ったり、婉曲的に、“My eye!”とか“My foot!”と言うことも使われます。
“You’re telling me you’re her brother? My ass! You look nothing alike.”
「おまえが彼女の兄貴だって？うそつけ！全然似てないじゃないか。」
