“You can go to the party on Saturday night. But on one condition.”
“condition”には、「状態、健康状態」という意味のほかに、「条件」という意味です。“On one condition.”で、“There’s one condition.”や“I have one condition.”と同じように、「１つだけ条件がある」という意味になります。
相手に対して何かをしてあげたり、何かを許すことと引替えに、ある条件を提示する場合に用いられる表現になっています。
“You can go to the party on Saturday night. But on one condition.”
「土曜日の夜のパーティーに行ってもいいわ。でも、１つだけ条件があるわ」
