“Take your time, there is no rush. One day at a time.“
“One day at a time.”という表現は、「将来何が起こるかを考えるよりも、いま目の前にあることに着実に取り組む」という意味合いで、「一日一日を着実に」、「一日一歩」または「まずは今日一日」などという意味になります。
「早く結果を出そうと焦ったりせずに、まずは、その日その日を無事に乗り切ることを心がけるべきだ」という感じで、忍耐強く時間を掛けて物事に取り組むべきだと相手を励ますために用いられる表現ですね。
