“Promises, promises, never ends!”
“Promises, promises.”は、「口先ばかりなんだから」「そんなこと言って一度も実行したことないくせに」「約束ばかりで守ったことないじゃないか」などという意味ですが、相手が「～するよ」と約束をした場合などに、「そんなこと信じられないわ！いつも口先ばかりなんだから」という感じで用いられる表現ですね。
“When I get a bonus, I’ll buy you a diamond ring.”
「ボーナスが出たら、ダイヤモンドの指輪を買ってあげるよ」
