“Do it now, the sooner the better right!”
The + 比較級 …, the + 比較級には、「～すればするほど、ますます～だ」という意味がありますが、この「…」の部分がなくなっていますが、“The sooner, the better.”と言うと、「早いに越したことはない」または「早ければ早いほどよい」という意味です。
“sooner”が“soon”の比較級、“better”が“good”の比較級にも使えます。
“When do you want this?”
「いつこれをほしいですか？」
“The sooner, the better.”
「早ければ早いほどよいです。」
