“All set, ready go!”
“all set”には、「準備完了、用意ができた」という意味があります。
“All set.”と言うと、「用意ができたよ」「準備万端だよ」という意味になります。
または、“all set”には、「すべて完了した、すべて手はずが整った」という意味合いもあるので、
例えば、レストランなどで、ウェイターが、“Are you all set?”と尋ねた場合には、「それで全部ですか(他に何かありますか)？」という意味になるので、「注文はすべてお揃いですか？」と尋ねていることになります。
他にも、ホテルのフロントや、お店などで、相手が、“All set?”と語尾を上げて訊いてきた場合も、「それで全部ですか(他に何かありますか)？」と訊いているので、“All set.”「これで全て完了です」「これで全部です」と答えればよいですね。
“I’m all set for the trip.”
「すっかり旅支度ができているよ」
“Would you like some dessert?”
「デザートはいかがですか？」
“No, we’re all set.”
「いいえ、もう結構です」
