“kiss and tell”には、元々、「有名人との性的関係を公然と話す」という意味がありますが、今では、それだけに留まらず、一般的に「信頼を裏切る、秘密を暴露する」という意味として用いられています。
“I don’t kiss and tell.”と言うと、「信頼は裏切らないよ」とか「秘密はもらさないよ」とか「言わないよ」という意味です。
“Don’t ask me how I know, I don’t kiss and tell.”
「どうして私が知っているのか聞かないで。秘密はもらさないよ」
