“Didn’t you see that you had it coming?”
“have it coming”には、「当然の報いを受ける」という意味があり、“You had it coming.”を直訳すると、「あなたは当然の報いを受けた」という意味になり、そこから、「当然の報いだ」、「自業自得だ」、「身から出た錆だ」または「ざまあみろ」などという意味です。
“It serves you right.”も同じような意味合いもできますが、“It serves you right.”という表現は、「ざまあみろ」、「当然の報いだ」または「いい気味だ」などという意味になります。“You asked for it.”「自業自得だよ」とか「自分で招いたことだよ」も同じような意味合いでもあります。
“I can’t believe she broke up with me.”
「彼女に振られたなんて信じられない」
“You had it coming.”
「自業自得だよ」
