“Don’t worry. Your secret is safe with me.”
“Your secret is safe with me.”を直訳すると、「あなたの秘密は私に関しては安全です」という意味になり、そこから、「秘密は絶対に守るよ」、「あなたの秘密は誰にも言わないよ」または「秘密は漏らさないよ」などという意味です。
これと似たような意味合いで、“My lips are sealed.”という表現もありますね。
直訳すると、「私の唇は封印されている」という意味になり、そこから、「誰にも言わないよ」という意味になります。“My lips are sealed.”「誰にも言わないよ」と言いながら、口にチャックをするしぐさをしたりします。
